Saturday was not the best weather day, yet we did see a few fish caught.

At Lewes Harbour Marina the report was slower fishing for the Katydid who only came back with 20 flounder. The Sea Jay II and the Chasin’ Tail had some flounder, ribbonfish and sea bass. Justin and his dad Riley managed to catch their eight-fish flounder limit fishing around the pier at Cape Henlopen State Park. The latest from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal was nothing on the cleaning table on Saturday.

The report from Breakwater Tackle at the fishing pier on Cape Henlopen State Park was very slow fishing on Saturday. Just a few croaker and spot on bloodworms and Fishbites. Flounder action was decent in the morning with minnows the best bait.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Captain Ike brought in limits of blueline tilefish plus a couple of goldens from the offshore canyons. The tuna bite was off of Saturday.
