Temporary Water Outage Thursday Night – July 23 for Part of Worcester County

Resident in the area of Bay Point Plantation, Glen Riddle, and Section of Ocean Pines will have a temporary water outage on Thursday, July 23.  Worcester County Public Works will temporarily shut off water service to an estimated 773 home between 11pm and 5am to upgrade a water service main.  The water service interruption will last approximately 4 to 6 hours for residents in Bay Point Plantation, Glen Riddle, a portion of Robinhood Trail, and all of Knight Terrace, Fasse Grange, and Abbey Circle, while crews complete the project.

Following the upgrade, some customers may experience discolored water. If this occurs, please allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear. If discoloration persists, please contact the Water and Wastewater Division at 410-641-5251.
