Traffic violation leads police to discover ounce of cocaine

Worcester County Sheriff’s Office making a drug bust after a traffic stop. On Saturday a sheriff’s deputy stopped Timothy Davis Jr of Norfolk for speeding on Route 113. After smelling weed in the man’s car, the deputy searched the vehicle, turning up a small amount of marijuana, several thousand dollars cash, and about 1 ounce of cocaine. Davis was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and was also issued a speeding ticket. Davis was held on $10 thousand bond.
