Two Camden, DE Residents Arrested in Easton Walmart Theft Case


Easton, Maryland Police have arrested a Camden, Delaware man for stealing over $2,000 in merchandise. On November 2nd, police responded to Walmart for a report of a suspicious person suspected of theft. When officers arrived, they saw the individual–identified as 51-year-old Joshua Medler running through the parking lot toward Dover Road. Through the investigation, police learned that Medler had placed the stolen merchandise in a vehicle. He was arrested, and during a search, officers found that he possessed suspected methamphetamine. Medler was charged with theft ($1,500–$10,000), false statements to police, and CDS possession, and was taken to the Talbot County Detention Center. Officers also learned Medler was accompanied by 57-year-old Charleen Cox of Camden who was found nearby pushing a shopping cart full of items. Cox was discovered to have an outstanding Delaware warrant for theft. She was also arrested and transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.
