Sunday was a tad breezy, but some boats did make it out to the ocean and the Outer Wall.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina told us the current leaders in the Tog Tournament are Chip Graves in First Place with an 8.46 pounder.  In Second Place is Charlie Breidenbach with his 6.54-pound tog and in Third Place is Bill Low with a 6.48 pounder.  Two young gentlemen went fishing in Red Mill Pond on Sunday and did very well.  Vaughn Robinson caught a 10.43-pound catfish and Jazier Burgas had a four-pound bass.  They then moved to Canary Creek where they caught and released several short rockfish.  Morgan and Jay Way along with Kevin Hockman fished over ocean structure on the Wandering Way for a mixed bag of black sea bass, blues and flounder.

Virginia has a new state record true albacore.  The 70-pound, 11-ounce fish was caught by Wendy Brockenbrough on the Sea Trader with Captain Shey Mahoney.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
