WGMD Fishing Report 11-16-17

Friday was a bit cloudy and cool, but compared to what we have been promised for the next few days, it was a gift.  Seas are forecasted to be between nine and twelve feet on Saturday and Sunday.  I believe it is safe to say no boats will be sailing until sometime next week.

Boats did sail on Friday and they caught fish.  The Katydid with Captain Brent had 28 sea bass and 16 tog.  The Top Fin with Captain Pete was able to find eight keeper tog for his party.  On Thursday, the Bottom Line fished the Del-Jersey-Land Reef for a good catch of sea bass.  Bob Murphy fishing on the Katydid has taken over first place in the Lewes Harbour Marina Tog Tournament with an 8.85-pound beauty.  Chip Graves is now in Second Place with an 8.46 pounder and Greg Ferzetti is in Third Place with his 8.40-pound tog.  The contest ends on Sunday, November 17.  Considering the weather forecast, I think these three guys may have the contest sewed up.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
