WGMD Fishing Report 11-18-21

Thursday, we had a gale warning and it will stick around for Friday.  Winds will be northwest at 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 and three to five-foot seas.  On Saturday the wind will go northeast at 10 to 15 knots in the morning then drop out to five to ten in the afternoon.  Seas will be three feet in the morning then fall off to two feet in the afternoon.

To the best of my knowledge no boats left the dock or their trailer on Thursday and I doubt any will be going out on Friday.  I am sure a few hardy souls fished the Indian River Inlet for tog and probably caught a few on sand fleas and green crab.  The jetty jockeys will drown a few eels tonight.

It does look like we will get a decent weekend of weather and boats should be able to make the run to ocean structure.  Sea bass and tog will be waiting for them and we should see some boat limits of both on the cleaning tables.  Do keep in mind the water is much colder and prepare accordingly.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
