WGMD Fishing Report 11-19-19

Monday was not very nice with a nasty north to northeast wind, fog and drizzle.  Did I mention it was also cold with air temperatures in the 40s?  I must admit I have no idea what we are going to find once we finally get back out on the ocean and bay.  The water temperature has dropped into the upper 50s which is OK for striped bass and tog, but right now the only one of those critters around are the tog.  I fear the black sea bass will have moved to deeper water where they are currently catching them off of the New Jersey Coast.

The Lewes Harbour Marina Tog Tournament ended on Sunday with Bob Murphy in First Place with his 8.85-pound tog.  Chip Graves was in Second Place with his 8.46 pounder and Greg Ferzetti rounded out the field in third place with an 8.40 pounder.

I did call Lewes Harbour Marina and Old Inlet Bait and Tackle just in case anyone went fishing.  Lewes Harbour Marina had nothing to report while Old Inlet did say they sold some green crabs to tog fishermen at the Inlet, but none had reported back.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
