Some flounder are starting to show up out on the ocean with this nice catch
hitting our docks. Gary Hall, Sr., Gary Michael Hall, Jr., Erine Stone and Mike
Thompson all from Camden, DE fished on “One-Charlie out at Site 11 using
buctails with cut bait. The largest weighed in at 7.9lbs

We are having a run of good fishing days and Wednesday was another in the string.  It looks like our luck will continue right through the weekend although the wind will swing back to the southwest bringing the flies back out of the marsh.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina saw flounder from ocean structure come in on the Katydid.  The head boats out of Anglers fished the bay for a catch of trout and bluefish.  On Tuesday the Strike Zone went four for six on yellowfin tuna and zero for one on white marlin.

At Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park, Dave told us spot fishing was very good and one lady had 35 in her cooler.  Flounder to 25 inches were also taken.  He said it has been a good week on the pier.

Rick’s Bait and Tackle checked in a 110-pound bigeye tuna for Matt Pry who caught the big fish in the south Baltimore Canyon on the Un Reel with Captain Schuyler Wissniewski.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em saw flounder come in on the Judy V.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
