WGMD Fishing Report 9-4-20
Thursday was sunny and bright and those who fished structure in the ocean and bay did well. The rest of the weekend looks good so far as the weather so we should be able to get out there after those flounder, dolphin and sea bass.
Ronnie at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Grizzly came back from ocean structure with a good catch of flounder and sea bass. The Angler fished over bay structure for a catch of croaker.
The Thelma Dale out of Fisherman’s Wharf had a decent number of sea bass and flounder for her passengers who fished over ocean structure.
At Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park they reported a variety of fish including croaker, spot and flounder caught on bloodworms, clams, squid strips, Fishbites and Gulp!.
Dianna at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said all the boats that fished over ocean structure came back with dolphin, sea bass and flounder. Bayside Bait and Tackle said Mason Iskric and Dale Werntz fished Rehoboth Bay with live spot to catch a 10-pound rockfish.
