1 Dead and 1 Injured in Sunday Morning Crash on Route 13 Business in Salisbury
A fiery crash early Sunday morning on Route 13 Business in Salisbury left one man dead and another injured. Salisbury Police say that Salisbury firefighters were on the scene just after 4am when police arrived at the scene and put out the fire in the four-door Nissan Sentra, which had collided with the side barrier of the bridge over the railroad tracks.
The driver, 18 year old Jamal Purnell was pronounced dead at the scene by Salisbury EMS. A 17 year old passenger was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
