4 Dover Teens Arrested in West Reed Street Shooting


Four juveniles have been arrested by Dover Police in connection with a shooting incident on West Reed Street just after midnight on April 24th.  Police say a 42 year old man was sitting on his front porch when the teens approached and one pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds – striking the victim in the leg three times and the home, where 4 others were inside.  No other injuries occurred.  The victim was treated for his injuries at Bayhealth Medical Center.  The teens were all positively identified using city surveillance cameras and other leads and are charged with 1st degree assault, illegal gang participation and other offenses.
