Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Dover; Victim Identified
Delaware State Police have identified the victim who died in a pedestrian crash that happened this week in Dover. Brandon Lemon of Dover was 39 years old. According to Delaware State Police, on June 10th shortly before 2:30 a.m., a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound, in the right lane, on Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway (State Route 1) approaching White Oak Road. At the same time, the pedestrian–Brandon Lemon– wearing dark, non-reflective clothing, and not carrying a light, was in the Jeep鈥檚 path of travel when was struck by the Jeep in the right northbound lane of the highway. The driver of the Jeep, a 63-year-old man from Berlin, Maryland, was not injured.
