Unemployment in Delaware remained steady from May to June at 4% while the national unemployment rate decreased slightly from 4.2% in May to 4.1% in June. In Sussex County unemployment increased from 3.7% in May to 4% in June.
The Private Education and Health Services sector added 1300 jobs in Delaware ā generating the largest portion of the state’s total job growth year-to-date at 65%.
