Glen Burnie Tractor Trailer Driver Charged with Assault & Reckless Endangerment in Talbot County
A Glen Burnie truck driver has been arrested after reports of a hit and run on Route 50 in Easton. Easton Police met with the driver of a Hyundai Sonata who told them they were stopped on Route 50 at Dover Road when a tractor trailer struck the rear of their vehicle twice – then hit them a third time – pushing the Sonata into another lane. The tractor trailer continued without stopping. Police say dispatchers received several calls about the same tractor trailer driving all over the roadway.
Talbot County Sheriff’s officer deputies and Cambridge Police stopped the tractor trailer in Cambridge and arrested 33 year old David Dziergowski of Glen Burnie. He is charged with 1st degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Dziergowski was released on his own recognizance.
