Employee Charged in Theft Scheme at Easton Store

Easton Police following an investigation into a theft scheme have arrested 42-year-old Georgia L. Missimer of Preston. Police were called to Harbor Freight on Marlboro Avenue for a report of the employee theft. Store management told officers that Missimer had been voiding items from transactions and pocketing the cash. The scheme, traced back to June 2025, resulted in a loss of over $2,500. Missimer was turned over to the Talbot County Detention Center.
