Delaware State Police Arrest Two Men After Occupied Milford Residence Struck by Gunfire
Delaware State Police have arrested two men–34-year-old David Waddington of Milford and 71-year-old Roger Spurbeck of New Holland, Pennsylvania for reckless endangering and related charges following an incident in which shots were fired last night in Milford. According to State Police, on September 23rd, shortly before 8:00 p.m., troopers responded to Cedar Beach Road. When troopers arrived, they learned that a residence, with two adults inside, had been struck by gunfire. No one was injured. Police say that two men, identified as David Waddington and Roger Spurbeck, were shooting in the backyard of a nearby residence when their gunfire struck the occupied residence. Waddington and Spurbeck were taken into custody without incident and taken to Troop 7 where they were charged with multiple crimes. Waddington and Spurbeck were each charged with multiple crimes, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and released on a $76,000 unsecured bond.
