Dover Man Arrested Second Time on Child Sex Abuse Charges

A Dover man has been arrested after three additional victims of child sexual abuse were identified by Dover Police. Dover Police arrested 56 year old Thomas Kennedy on July 30th on charges of sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust聽for offenses that occurred between 1998 and 2014.聽 At that time detectives had information that there might be additional victims. Police obtained a warrant for Kennedy’s arrest and he turned himself in to police on Thursday.

Kennedy is charged with multiple additional offenses:聽

  • Sexual Abuse of a Child By a Person of Trust (2x)聽 聽
  • Unlawful Sexual Contact Second Degree(13x)聽
  • Sexual Solicitation of a Minor

Kennedy is free after posting a $16,500 secured bail.聽

Police urge anyone else who has been affected to come forward, so their voice can be heard and justice can be pursued.
