State Police Arrest Felton Man for 5th Offense DUI

A traffic stop in Felton Saturday led to the arrest of a Felton man. Delaware State Police on patrol on Henry Cowgill Road saw a GMC weaving in and out of its lane. A computer check showed the vehicle had an unregistered tag and the vehicle was stopped.
The driver was identified as 64 year old Whitey Moore who shows signs of impairment.聽 Several bottles of alcohol that had been consumed were found in the vehicle during a search.
A computer check showed Moore had four prior DUI convictions and a suspended driver’s license. Moore is charged with a 5th offense DUI and traffic offenses and is being held at SCI on a $5700 cash bond.
