Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/06/26

Easter Sunday was windy with a special marine warning for Delaware Bay in the afternoon and a small craft advisory for the Atlantic Ocean.

Jeff Crook from Mississippi sent me a fishing report from his visit to Delaware. He fished at Massey鈥檚 Landing one morning and caught nothing. The next morning, he fished the Burton鈥檚 Pond spillway and caught one yellow perch and five pickerel, all keepers. In the afternoon he fished the Millsboro boat ramp and caught a 10 and a12-inch crappie plus a small and a 20.5-inch pickerel. All were caught on minnows fished 12 to 18 inches under a bobber.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said they saw the first tog of the season caught from Indian River Inlet. The largest was 18 inches and the smallest was 16 inches. Both were taken on sand fleas.
