Several Sheds Damaged by Fire in Federalsburg Friday

Several sheds were destroyed after a tree caught fire in Federalsburg. Firefighters from Federalsburg were called to Noble Road just after 5pm on Friday where they found a brush fire spreading to several sheds.
Maryland Fire Marshal investigators say the fire began at the base of a tree and spread through debris on the ground to three sheds near the tree – the cause remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $65,000.
