Two Injured in Wrong Way Crash on Coastal Highway in North Ocean City

Two people have been flown to regional hospitals after a crash Friday morning on Coastal Highway in north Ocean City. Ocean City Police were called to the area of 127^th Street just after 8:30am for a head-on crash involving a wrong way driver.

Police say that an SUV had been involved in a minor collision near 94^th Street and left the scene. At some point the SUV began traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Coastal Highway and collided with a pickup truck between 126^th and 127^th Streets.

Both drivers were flown to regional hospitals. The investigation is continuing.
