Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/04/26

Sunday, we had small craft advisories up and that shut down any thoughts of sea bass fishing. I guess we were lucky that the Weather God let us have the first two days of the season.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that tog fishing was good during the morning with sand fleas and green crabs the best baits. Down at 3Rs Road a 24-inch bluefish was caught on cut mullet as were several big striped bass. Once again, this was a morning bite.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that no boats left their docks to chase black sea bass. A few boats did try the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal, but if they caught anything they didn鈥檛 tell anyone. All and all it was a slow day.
