Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/06/26
Tuesday it was windy. I was out and about and had to hold onto my hat for fear it would blow away.
Small craft advisories were up and they will be up through Thursday. Just to add even more misery to the equation there will be rain here and there. Of course, we do need the rain and since the wind is going to blow and the seas are going to build to 6 feet it might as well rain.
It appears that if we can make it to the weekend, we should have some decent, if a bit damp, fishing weather. That would be a welcome change.
No boats sailed from Lewes Harbour Marina or from Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m. I didn鈥檛 expect any would.
The only report I had of fish being caught were a few stripers taken early in the morning from the Indian River Inlet Jetty on both sides with bucktails and plugs doing most of the damage.
