Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/10/26

As advertised, small craft advisories were up all-day Saturday, but Mother’s Day is looking fishable. For all of you Moms who were looking forward to a nice day on the water, or getting everybody out of the house so you can relax, it’s looking good.

Lewes Harbour Marina said no boats left their docks, but they did clean a surf-caught striped bass. No information on where or when it was caught or on what, but it was caught from the beach.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported on the good tog fishing at Indian River Inlet. The top baits were sand fleas or green crabs.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us they had reports of blues and stripers caught from Indian River Inlet. I suspect both were taken on metal lures, bucktails and plugs such as Bombers, Rebels and SP Minnows.
