Ocean City Woman Arrested after Stabbing in Berlin

Early Monday morning Worcester County Sheriff’s Office was called for a stabbing with two victims on Majestic Prince Lane in Berlin. Deputies found the suspect, 34 year old Maria Giuffrida of Ocean City, at the scene and arrested her.

Officials say one victim sustained possibly life-threatening injuries and was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The 2^nd victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Giuffrida is charged with attempted 1^st and 2^nd degree murder and 2 counts of 1^st and 2^nd degree assault against both victims and is being held without bond.
