Three Charged after Tuesday Morning Assault in Felton

Felton Police have arrested 3 after an assault on at a convenience store on South DuPont Highway just after 7 Tuesday morning. Police say a 23 year old male victim was pumping gas when three black males pulled up behind his vehicle. As their vehicle inched closer to the victim’s vehicle, the victim asked what the driver was doing. All three got out – 2 were wearing ski masks – and threatened the victim – then the two masked suspects punched the victim in the face and mouth – causing severe injury and knocking out several teeth.
Police identified the suspects through surveillance footage and photos taken by the victim. The suspects – who were accompanied by family members – turned themselves in later that day at the Felton Police Department.
Police have charged 19 year old Christian Fuhr of Seaford with the following offenses:
- 2nd degree assault – Recklessly Causing Serious Physical Injury (Class D Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Class E Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree – Agreement to Engage in Felony Criminal Conduct (Class G Felony)
- Terroristic Threatening (Class A Misdemeanor)
Fuhr was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on a $19,000 unsecured bail.
A 16 year old juvenile was charged with the following offenses:
- 2nd degree assault – Recklessly Causing Serious Physical Injury (Class D Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Class E Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree – Agreement to Engage in Felony Criminal Conduct (Class G Felony)
- Terroristic Threatening (Class A Misdemeanor)
The 16 year old juvenile was released on $4,000 unsecured bail pending a later court date to his parent/legal guardian.
A 17 year old juvenile – the driver – is charged with the following offenses:
- 2nd degree assault – Recklessly Causing Serious Physical Injury (Class D Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree – Agreement to Engage in Felony Criminal Conduct (Class G Felony)
- Terroristic Threatening (Class A Misdemeanor)
The 17 year old juvenile driver was released on $3,000 unsecured bail pending a later court date to his parent/legal guardian.
