Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/30/26

Friday saw the wind pick up a bit out of the southwest and on Saturday the wind will shift to the northwest and small craft advisories will be up once again.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the only report they had was from a boat that fished the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal and landed three flounder using minnows for bait.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they saw some good croaker numbers caught on bloodworms, but the bluefish were nowhere to be found on Friday.

Old Inlet told us blues and stripers were caught from the jetties, pre-dawn, on bucktails and plugs.

Hook ‘em and Cook ’em said the sea bass boats had lots of shorts and some keepers. The Toxic Tide brought in eight keeper flounder from the Old Grounds.

Dan’s Tackle said blues and black drum were caught from Broadkill Beach.
