Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/27/26

Sunday was another nice day with light east winds and fish caught just about everywhere.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said a customer brought in a photo of a fish he caught on a night crawler at Flowers Beach. They looked it up and it turns out to be a mangrove snapper. Another customer, who works as a mate on a Florida head boat during the winter, confirmed the identification. The usual spot and croaker were caught at Broadkill Beach.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported the Mondalou had sea bass and flounder from ocean structure. The Pirate King brought back spot, croaker, trout and triggerfish from Delaware Bay. A few flounder were caught from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Michael D had 50 pounds of bluefish and one Spanish mackerel on Sunday.
