Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/01/26

The final day of September was decent with light winds and calm seas. Unfortunately, very few captains felt the need to go fishing or in the case of charter or head boats, did not have the required customers.

Aaron at Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid and the Shooter Dog brought back good numbers of black sea bass from ocean structure.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said while the beaches remained closed, anglers were able to fish the Inlet where small tog were caught on sand fleas and crab baits with the occasional keeper.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us the Captain Bob had a nice haul of big sea bass and a few flounder on her all-day trip.

Rick’s had reports of tog at Massey’s Landing and small stripers from Rehoboth Bay.
