Clayton Man Charged in Three Dover Burglaries

Dover Police have arrested a Clayton man for three burglaries after an incident on Friday evening. Police were called to Cinnabon on North DuPont Highway after a report of a break in. When police arrived, they arrested 53 year old Scott Ottinger of Clayton. Employees told police that the business was broken into on September 7 and money taken. Surveillance video showed Ottinger was responsible for that burglary as well. And further investigation showed he also robbed the County Eatery on September 20^th.

Ottinger is charged with:

• Burglary Third Degree (3x)
• Theft Under $1,500 (3x)
• Criminal Mischief (2x)

Ottinger was released on a $7700 unsecured bond.
