After further review, Delaware’s unemployment rate is doing fine just fine. That’s according to the Department of Labor, who issued a revised outlook of the past years unemployment data. They previously reported a 1500 increase of unemployed residents in the state in 2017, but that was adjusted to a decrease of unemployed residents by 100. Delaware’s unemployment data smoothed and reduced most months of 2017, bringing down Delaware’s unemployment rate to 4.6%. The state is still lagging behind the US economy however, with national unemployment numbers standing at 4.1%.
