Delaware State Police Arrest Dover Man for Attempted Residential Burglary in Newark
Delaware State Police have arrested 63-year-old Kevin Johnson of Dover, for an attempted burglary that occurred early Thursday morning at a residential property in Newark. Upon arriving in the overnight hours on May 1st, troopers located Johnson on the property and attempted to take him into custody. Initially, he did not comply with verbal commands but was ultimately taken into custody without further incident. Once in custody, Johnson provided troopers a fictitious name. During the investigation, troopers learned Johnson attempted to enter the residence, causing damage to the door, and also attempted to enter a shed on the property. Johnson faces several charges and is at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $7,000 secured bond.聽
