UPDATED: Downstate Mosquito Spraying Tuesday Evening – Lewes, Milford & Milton
Weather permitting; the Delaware Mosquito Control Section plans the following insecticide application during the evening hours tonight Tuesday, June 10, 2025:
Application of Trumpet EC (Naled) with an airplane (registration numbers N5552A) to control adult mosquitoes in the following areas:
In Lewes.
Near Milford and Milton.
For notification purposes, spraying will be done in the following spray zones: 119, 120, 127, 128, 129, 139, 140, 141, and 142.
All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions. The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.

Application of Zenivex E4 (Etofenprox) with a truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes in the following areas:
In and near Milford.
Near Milton, Ellendale, Lewes, Georgetown, Millsboro, and Dagsboro.
For notification purposes, spraying will be done in the following spray zones: 118, 127, 138, 139, 140, 151, 153, 154, 164, 165, 166, 176, and 178.
All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions. The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
