UPDATED: DSP Investigating Deadly Crash near Delmar

UPDATED – 12/21/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 24-year-old Tyler Wright, of Delmar, Delaware, as the man who died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle fatal crash on Friday evening in Delmar.

ORIGINAL STORY – 12/20/25 – A Delmar man is dead after a single vehicle crash around 6:30 Friday evening in Delmar. Delaware State Police say a Toyota Tundra was westbound on Bacons Road west of Bi-State Boulevard and went off the road in a curve, struck a utility pole and overturned multiple times. Police say the driver – a 24 year old Delmar man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
