Fallen Firefighters to be Honored Sunday

Today fallen firefighters across the nation will be remembered and honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland. American flags are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset today. There were no fallen firefighters from Delaware last year, however there are three from Maryland who are being honored during Sunday’s Memorial Ceremony – including Danny Lister of the Queen Anne-Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company.
