First Rehoboth Reads Book by Milton Native

On Thursday Rehoboth Mayor Paul Kuhns unveiled the book that has been chosen for the 2019 Rehoboth Reads project.  It’s “Just Mercy” by Milton native Bryan Stevenson.  Rehoboth Reads is a city-wide reading project that will include discussions, a writing contest, book drive, student projects and other activities from March to May.  Stevenson is a 1977 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and is an attorney and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, where he currently lives.
