Governor Meyer’s Office Announces Fall Internship Program

Governor Matt Meyer’s office is now accepting applications for its Fall internship program.聽Over eight weeks, interns will assist the Office of the Governor staff by serving Delaware residents and gaining knowledge about state government. Potential projects and responsibilities include drafting proclamations, tributes, and event memos; answering constituent calls; and attending events such as a cabinet speaker series and confirmation hearings. Governor Meyer says fostering the next generation of state leaders is integral to the administration鈥檚 priorities. He adds that the office鈥檚 Fall internship program is a chance for students and recent graduates to develop professional skills and see firsthand how state government works. The Governor encourages all of those eligible to apply.

Rising college undergraduate students, as well as recent 2025 graduates, are invited to apply. Applicants should contact their universities to receive credit for the聽internship. Please submit a resume, a writing sample, and 3 references to聽GovInternships@delaware.gov聽by 5 pm on Friday, September 5th.
