Greenwood armed robbery foiled quickly

An armed robbery in Greenwood foiled quickly last night. Shore News Beacon reporting around 7:45 PM a man with a weapon held up Al’s Country Store on Hickman Road. After getting the loot he sped off in a pickup truck. However, the getaway was short lived, within 10 minutes police apprehended the suspect and took him into custody.
