The developmental team put together by the Delaware Department of Education to review and rewrite statewide anti-discrimination policy is meeting tonight. The group will review the feedback from over 11,000 public comments given online in November.

At the end of the meeting, there will be a half hour public comment period, State Senator Brian Pettyjohn tells WGMD there are some restrictions due to the anticipated crowd size. Public comments will be limited to 2 minutes, and must relate to what was covered during the meeting, not the regulation that already went through public comment. If anyone in attendance is unable to get to the podium, they will be able to write an email to the development team through 4:30 the next day.

The Development Team will meet from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Del-One Conference Center on Delaware Technical Community College’s Terry Campus, 100 Campus Drive in Dover.
