A Houston teen has been arrested by Harrington Police after he violated a no-contact order. Police were called to the RiteAid in Harrington which had received a phone call of someone saying they wanted to harm themselves at the Super 8 Hotel in Harrington. Police contacted a female at the hotel and conducted a welfare check and determined that she had been staying at the hotel with 18 year old Dontreze McDonald. A computer check showed that there was a no contact order prohibiting contact with the female after a previous incident between the two. McDonald was not at the hotel at the time and Harrington Police obtained a warrant for his arrest. McDonald turned himself in to police Tuesday – he is charged with breach of release and released on a $500 unsecured bond.
