A Magnolia man has been arrested for aggravated menacing after he pointed a gun at students on a Polytech school bus. Delaware State Police say the School Resource Officer was notified by school administrators on June 9th of a cell phone video that showed a man pointing a gun at students on a school bus.

Detectives learned that a student on the bus earlier in the day sprayed water from a water gun at a man riding a motorcycle while it was next to the bus. The motorcyclist yelled at the students and pulled a gun – and pointed it at the bus as it drove away.

Police identified the suspect as 62 year old Charles McCombs of Magnolia who was arrested Thursday. McCombs is charged with 6 counts of aggravated menacing and a weapons offense and is being held at SCI in default of a $48,000 secured bond.
