Milton man charged with stealing tools from vehicles in Seaford

A Milton man was arrested after police say he was caught stealing tools from vehicles in the parking lot of Lowes in Seaford.

The thefts took place over the course of the past two weeks in which a suspect was removing tools from various work trucks and vans.

On Wednesday, detectives witnessed 38-year-old Kristofer Watson, of Milton, removing tools from a contractor’s truck.

Watson was quickly apprehended and further investigation led to charges in four additional thefts that occurred in the same parking lot.

Watson was arraigned and released on $6,600 unsecured bail.

A large amount of stolen tools were recovered and are currently at the Seaford Police Department. Seaford Police are requesting anyone who may be a victim to please contact them at (302) 629-6648 to identify property.
