MSP Investigating 2 Vehicle Crash that Injured 2, Including an MSP Trooper
July 13, 2026/
Two people were injured, including an Maryland State Trooper, in a crash just east of the Berlin Barracks Sunday night around 8:30. Maryland State Police say a Land Rover, driven by a 16 year old male was northbound on Route 818 and attempting to cross Route 50. He failed to yield for oncoming traffic and struck the eastbound marked trooper’s patrol vehicle.
The trooper was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and flown to a local trauma center.
The driver of the Land Rover was also flown to a local trauma center.
The crash remains under investigation.
