MSP: Wicomico women beat kids, made them eat dog poop

Maryland State Police arresting two Wicomico women, charging them with abusing 3 children in their custody. The pair accused of beating and tasing the kids, aged 8-10, as well as locking them in confined spaces, witholding food, and even forcing them to eat dog feces on occasion.

Maryland State Police uncovering the grim living conditions in Mardela Springs after a tip January 26th. An investigation was immediately initiated by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division, in cooperation with Child Protective Services personnel assigned to the Wicomico Child Advocacy Center.

Based on the allegations, Child Protective Services officials removed the three children from the home the night the investigation began.  The two women, identified as Amanda Wright and Besline Joseph were arrested yesterday and remain in custody at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
