No Dewey Beach Election in September; Candidates Forum Today Will be Held

There will be no municipal election in September in Dewey Beach. The only candidates to file for the three open seats were the three incumbents. Elisabeth Gibbings, Paul Bauer and David Jasinski will return to the Commission – they will be sworn in at the September 26th meeting.
Even though there will be no election – the Dewey Beach Civic League will still hold a candidates forum this afternoon at 3:30 at the Dewey Beach Lifesaving Station. You’ll have a chance to meet the Town Council, town staff and discuss changes or improvements that you’d like to see in Dewey Beach.
