One Juvenile In Custody Following Armed Robbery, Another Still At Large


A 17-year-old juvenile accomplice has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery reported April 11th at the Holly Brook Apartment Complex. Laurel Police say the robbery occurred April 10th when the victim went to the 1300 block for a planned purchase. Two individuals approached him. One is accused of displaying a handgun, forcing the victim from his vehicle, and holding him at gunpoint while the other took cash before fleeing. The juvenile was taken into custody April 15th without incident and charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree conspiracy. He was committed to Stevenson Juvenile Detention Center on $11,000 cash-only bail. Authorities said he was on pre-trial release for prior narcotics and firearm-related charges. meanwhile, 17-year-old Tajon Bacon of Seaford, remains wanted and is considered armed and dangerous. Police ask anyone with information to contact authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
