Pickup Overturns while ‘Mudding’ Near Hartly; 6 Injured

Six people were taken to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries after a crash near Hartly. Delaware State Police were called to Gunter Road just after midnight Saturday after a pickup truck mudding in a field, hit a ditch and overturned trapping the driver – a 44 year old man from Marydel and 5 passengers – ages 19 to 26. Police say the driver was cited for failure to have insurance, registration and careless driving.
