Rehoboth Beach officials plan to reopen City Hall to the public on June 1st.

It’s expected that when the Rehoboth Commissioners meet on May 21st at 2pm they will consider further easing the requirements related to wearing face coverings outdoors. The Mayor and Commissioners will consider endorsing a 6th modification to the city’s civil emergency order that would make masks unnecessary on the boardwalk.

The state’s 28th modification, effective May 21, recommends that masks be worn outdoors when in large crowds that include unvaccinated people. In addition, new CDC mask guidelines suggest that fully vaccinated people may go without masks in most places.
