Salisbury Woman Dies in Friday Afternoon Crash

Maryland State Police say they continue to investigate a Friday afternoon car crash that turned fatal in Salisbury.

Around 3:30 p.m., Troopers responded to the intersection of Maryland 350, Mount Hermon Road and Walston Switch Road for a reported  serious, two vehicle motor vehicle collision. A 1994 Plymouth Voyager from Pennsylvania was traveling northbound on Walston Switch Road, stopped at a stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection. Troopers say a 2004 GMC 2500 pickup truck from Maryland was traveling westbound  on Mount Hermon Road and struck the passenger side of Plymouth.

The driver and both passengers of the Plymouth were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment. The front seat passenger, identified as 30-year-old Audrianna Booth of Salisbury was pronounced dead as PRMC.

Maryland State Police’s investigation continues and charges are pending.
